We create brands that are deeply connected to vision, rich with meaning, and crafted to inspire, align, and endure. Beautiful Brand Intelligence.

RSPCA Australia needed more than a functional facility—they needed a place that would reflect their purpose and amplify their impact. The new $28 million O’Halloran Hill campus was designed to accommodate rising demand in animal welfare, and StudioBand® was engaged to bring the brand to life across the site.
We developed a signage and spatial branding system that embedded the organisation’s identity into the built environment, helping RSPCA create a space that’s not only operationally effective, but emotionally resonant and unmistakably theirs.

Supersized animal silhouettes cut into steel greet visitors from afar—celebrating RSPCA’s mission with warmth and clarity. From facade to footpath, the campus is wrapped in purposeful design that helps visitors feel guided, welcome, and connected.

The scale and complexity of the new site meant RSPCA needed a system that could unify the experience—making it easy to navigate while also strongly expressing the brand. The signage needed to feel integrated, not imposed—both functional and emotive.
We began by building a wayfinding strategy that mapped user needs across the site. This became the foundation for a signage and spatial graphics system that celebrates the RSPCA’s identity through bold colours, friendly visual cues, and purpose-led storytelling. We leaned into the brand palette and animal imagery, using supersized perforated graphics across key façades.
These became signature moments—making the site recognisable from afar and engaging up close. Material choices and form factors were selected to harmonise with the architecture and natural surroundings, creating a system that feels both intentional and enduring.

Purpose-led design succeeds when it serves both people and place. By embedding the RSPCA brand into the environment—rather than layering it on top—we created a site that behaves like an extension of their mission. It reminded us that signage is not just about directing movement, but about shaping experience. The balance of boldness and restraint was key: the system had to be striking from a distance, but feel calm and clear on approach. Working closely with the architects ensured every detail felt cohesive and considered.

StudioBand® successfully integrated RSPCA's identity into the physical space, resulting in an environment that is not only efficient but emotionally resonant, aligning the built environment with the organization's mission. This approach ensures the campus is unmistakably connected to RSPCA’s purpose in animal welfare.
